La Torre Golf Resort Guide

La Torre Golf

Sweeping down the wide boulevard that marks the entrance to La Torre, the resort’s scale and grandeur are immediately apparent: spacious, elegant, and unmistakably impressive.

Lined with palms and framed by classical fountains, the arrival sets the tone for everything to come. From the first moment, this is a place that feels established, beautifully maintained, and complete in its offering.

Location & Setting

Situated near Roldán in the municipality of Torre-Pacheco, Murcia, La Torre enjoys the dual blessings of countryside calm and coastal convenience. The Mediterranean Sea, the Mar Menor, both within easy reach, as is the city of Murcia, offer the chance to enjoy the best of all worlds: security, beauty and calm, yet on the doorstep of everything this wonderful region has to offer. Within the resort’s planned layout you find palms, fountains, lakes, wide boulevards and flowering gardens, all designed for living beautifully.

Whether you arrive for full-time living or a seasonal escape, you step into a place designed for calm, convenience and belonging.

The Golf Course: Nicklaus Designed, perfected by water

At the heart of La Torre lies its golf course, an 18-hole, par-68 layout designed by the acclaimed Jack Nicklaus Design team, offering challenge and enjoyment, in equal measure.

Fairways flow past lakes, palms, gentle rises and wide vistas. Signature bunkers, water hazards and undulating terrain require thought, yet the surfaces remain immaculate, and the round always fun.

For the resident or visitor, golf here is not simply part of life; it is a thread that ties every day to leisure, comradery and enjoyment.

Water, Fountains & The Beauty of La Torre’s Lakes

Water is not a peripheral feature at La Torre; it is a fundamental element of the resort’s design, the backdrop to many of its most memorable sights.

From the moment you enter down the palm-lined boulevard, fountains shimmer at the resort’s centre. Their sound resets your pace. The entrance fountains, the lake-side terraces in the Town Centre, the swimming-pools set amongst gardens, all reflect a design entirely conscious of flow, reflection and movement. The golf course itself is centred around several sculpted lakes, broad surfaces of water that anchor the fairways, act as visual calmers, and define key strategic points. These lakes are not after-thoughts. They are integral: reflecting sky, framing holes, creating rhythm in the walk. A shot across water, the stillness of a lake at dawn, the fringe of reeds whispering in breeze: these are the moments that stay.

And throughout the resort’s length you will find an abundance of pools (22 in total), water features and fountains, each echoing the same design language: water as experience, as identity, as La Torre.

Homes of Variety and Character

La Torre offers architectural variety built on consistent quality. With a total of 2,648 homes across the resort, comprising 446 villas, 474 townhouses and 1,728 apartments, the choice is superb yet unified by a common design language.

Villa Types

  • Acebuche: La Torre’s smallest villa type, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a rooftop solarium, often with private pool, large terrace and garden.
  • Sabina: The larger of the 2 bed designs, with 2 bathrooms, and perhaps the most popular villa type in the resort. Typically featuring a private pool and garden and designed for comfortable living.
  • Arce: Rare, spacious and sought after, the Arce villa features three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, all in one level. Set on a large plot, usually with a pool, this is a villa designed for both permanent and seasonal living.
  • Enebro: The flagship villa of the resort, a 2 storey, 3 bed, 3 bath design. Beautifully designed, immediately impressive and superbly spacious, Enebro’s are very special homes.

Apartments & Town Houses

Apartments come with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, with the exception of the town centre examples. Underground parking, central heating and lift access to all levels come as standard, with every apartment having at least one terrace, typically overlooking a pool, or the golf course. Town houses are La Torre’s frontline homes, combining the ease of apartment living with multiple terraces, often with superb golf views.

Across all home types you will find the same resort wide infrastructure: 24 hour security, 22 swimming pools, tennis and padel courts and communal landscaping of excellent quality.

Whether you prefer villa living with your own private pool and garden, a townhouse’s golf front location, or an apartment low maintenance and spectacular views, La Torre offers a home for every wish.

Hotel & Spa

Within La Torre stands the DoubleTree by Hilton La Torre Golf & Spa Resort, a wonderful hotel offering luxury rooms with views over the golf course, hotel pool and lake.

Final Thoughts

Perhaps more than any other resort, La Torre offers a bit of everything, all within a self-contained world of its own.

And that is precisely its strength. It knows what it is, and it does it beautifully.

It’s a resort where the architecture is confident, not timid; where nature is incorporated into the design, with fountains and gardens, where the bars and restaurants, pools and promenades create a vibrant, sociable environment, all without losing calm. At La Torre you don’t simply find walls and roofs. You find comfort and a welcoming community. You find somewhere that fits not just your plans, but your pace. And at Lonrah, we believe that home truly begins when all the noise falls away, not just from outside, but from inside your mind. When you arrive and recognise: here, I can finally breathe.
